I use this app every night to fall asleep. I LOVE the customization options. Though Im not usually a fan of paid apps, this one was well worth the cost.

I really love white noise storm! I use it when i need to sleep somewhere noisy and I sleep so well when I use it. I love how it can be adjusted to my preference or just constantly changing slightly. I find it very relaxing. I have been using it for years and dont use any of my other white noise anymore

So it doesnt sound to bad but it does not flash like it says , it dont flash at all

Have had a hard time with noise adjustments-- Controls are for sound levels (loud and soft) rather than controlling the quality of the sound. Wish it were more like"hard rain" " drizzle on car window" etc. instead you can make a gale force wind sound loud or soft. The "far away/close" control seems completely ineffective. Part of my job is sitting with sound engineers editing sound for film so Im pretty sure its not just me. I listen to it while i write but I think I need to keep looking.

Ive tried many, this is by far the best white noise application on the market! I cant sleep without it, been using it nightly for many years, even travels with m, I love it! This beats all the others Ive tried because it is truly random, It does not loop. Please optimize for the iPad, keep up the great work!

There are many great (and not so great) apps that play storms. And many that let you mix your own storms (along with many other sounds.) I use and enjoy a number of them. Especially on the weekends when I like it a bit rowdy. But I always come back to this one as my weeknight sleep aid. What makes this app unique is its ability to control the range of FX randomization. I run it through a quality sound system in my bedroom and, besides never hearing the same mix twice, it sounds excellent! Smooth without sounding like warning sirens might go off at any moment! ;-) Sorry its taken so long for me to write this review. Thanks!

If it werent for there only being like four different thunderclaps just played randomly and at different volumes, I might have actually liked this. Not enough rolling thunder and the wind is crap. Waste of .99 cents... And thats saying something... Nice try though.

Ive used this app for several years now. I always try others, but they always sound too repetitive or fake, and I always end up back using this one. Its easily the best if you like sleeping to the sound of rain and storms.

Love this app. Its helped me sleep many nights. Its adjustable to your preference. You can also set a timer if you wish.

This app has a lot of options that let me create the perfect storm. NOT one of those apps that you will scroll across on your iDevice a few months from now and say, "Well, THAT was a waste of money." I used this once with my iPhone connected to a speaker system for a Sunday School class where the subject was Acts chapter 27 (a white-knuckled first person account of a roman ship caught in a killer storm). I amped up the wind and thunder through the lesson. The effect on everyone was pretty amazing; they said it was quite an experience.
